Peachy Keen

Forever 21 Top [similar] | TJ Maxx shorts [similar] | Jessica Simpson heels [similar] | Forever 21 Bow | By Boe Necklace | Kohl's leopard clutch [similar]| Bracelets: Forever 21 pyramid bracelet, DIY bracelet | Michael Kors watch

I absolutely ADORE my lace shorts and try to pair them with everything. As of recent, I love pairing them with any pastel top and natural colored heels. This shirt is pretty plain in the front, but it has a wing like back, which I love. I also threw a little bow with it, instead of my average, boring bobby pins. I added the leopard clutch (which I got for 9.99) to spice it up a little. Such a simple look!

DIY Chain Rhinestone Bracelet

I'm currently loving I Spy DIY's bracelet for Chloe and Isabel
INSPIRATION
So, I decided to take a stab at it and see what I could come up with.... Supplies: Chain/Pliers/Rhinestone chain/Jump Rings/Lobster Clasp/Super Glue/Colored String
I just eyeballed the chain around my wrists and it came about to be 6 1/2 inches so I cut all 3 pieces accordingly

Next, attach 1 jump ring to both chains

Grab your black string and tie the two chains together and make a know (I double knotted to be safe)
Next, lay your rhinestones down between the chains

Grab your black string and string it through the chain, over the rhinestones, and through the second chain.I did this twice on each section so the black would show up more. Continue doing this down the whole bracelet

Continue until you get to the end of the bracelet. Once at the bottom, wrap the string around the last two links several times (I did 3 times). Then grab your super glue and add glue to both sides to secure it.

Then, I added 3 jump rings to the end.

Added my lobster clasp to the other end...

 Annnndddddd voila!

Then, add it to your collection!

Now you can go buy more accessories from Chloe + Isabel/make more I Spy DIY creations to match this. This project was a tad more time consuming from what I expected, but I'm still pleased with the outcome! Try adding bright string for a bracelet with more pop!

Leopard Loafer Love

Shirt: Thrifted black button up Jeans:TJ Maxx Shoes: Candies Watch: Michael Kors Bracelets: Love;Chain Ring: Pandora The leopard loafers have become quite trendy & while I wouldn't mind having these babies, I decided to go ahead & settle for a cheaper version. Wahhh. I've been on the hunt for a while, & the other day my friend & I scored these at Kohl's for $9.99. This outfit was very easy to throw together & I still felt like it made a bit of a statement with the shoes and simple armparty! I'm sure as I go on you'll see how much I rely on flowy button-ups, def a staple in my wardrobe. Here come the dreaded mirror pics....

I've been using this Kate Spade tote for a while(think I've had it since highschool?), it's just so easy to throw everything into (which is sometimes a problem).

Like I said earlier, this look is pretty simple but still has that I'm-well-put-together look. This could even be changed into a night outfit by unrolling the bottom of the jeans, adding some pumps and a statement necklace! Hope you enjoyed, and once again please remember this all in the works. Thanks for stopping by! P.S. I decided to take a better picture of the heart sweater DIY (everytime I look back at them I cringe at the fact I don't have a camera, eeeek)

P.S.S. stop back by, I'm planning on a DIY chevron canvas post very soon!

Heart Sweater DIY

So, I am VERY new to the blogging world and don't quite have the hang of it yet. However, I thought I would go ahead and give it a shot and post a DIY. I have been lusting after some of the heart sweaters shown below, but I don't exactly have an extra $90-$350 to spare on a sweater. So I decided to create my own...
Heart Sweaters
I grabbed an old Club Room sweater I've had from the guys section at a Macy's sale several years ago [similar] Grabbed some [wool] (1/4 of a yard to be exact) and with a coupon it came out to be around $2.50 (score). The original idea was to sew with the stitches exposed on the outside of the heart but I opted out and went with this glue I already had. I folded my fabric in half, quickly free-handed half of a heart against the crease, cut it out, applied the glue liberally (planning on lots of wear in the fall), centered on the sweater, and left a heavy box of stationary sitting on it for 30 minutes. Disclaimer: I am currently camera-less at the moment so this is an awful mirror/iPhone pic....however, it will have to do for now. The finished product....

I must say for $2.50 I am overly satisfied and cannot wait to throw this with some leggings/skinny jeans and my favorite boots. Please excuse my blogs current state I'm working on getting it just right. Hope you enjoyed this post :)
